As number of skilled Irish nationals entering the bar sector were diminishing. This study explored the reasons why Irish people were no longer attracted to the licensed trade sector. Covering areas such as the perception of the industry, pay, conditions, regular access to training schemes and its’genuine career opportunities for prospective Irish bartenders.
