About This Journal

Numbers

  • aims to publish articles authored by academic researchers, industry practitioners, data managers, and in particular, collaborations between two or more of the aforementioned, in order to highlight the significance, disruptive potential and efficacy of large primary and secondary datasets with regard to the frontiers of our understanding in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS).

    As such, we welcome submissions pertaining to experimental and theoretical data science and innovative analytics, in addition to actual and potential applications, and comprehensive reviews of literature, software and algorithms. In order to appropriately address the development of born digital and converted data as perhaps the most critical factor underpinning future human development, innovation and understanding, topics of relevance include, but are not limited to:
