The Manifesto of Futurist Cooking, Manifesto della Cucina Futurista, was published in Turin's Gazzetta del Popolo in 1930. This is best known for demanding the abolition of pastasciutta (a kind of dried pasta). The Futurists opened the Taverna del Santopalato in Turin in March, 1931 followed by Futurist Banquets in Italy and France. Finally, dinners and recipes appeared in La Cucina Futurista published in Milan in 1932.
