The Gastronomy Archive is attempting to capture the history of food and drink in all its aspects. The categories of material to be collected will encompass both the institutional and the personal, the producer and the consumer, the hotelier, restaurateur, retailer, wholesaler and the customer. Food and drink is part of our social experiences and is integral to our social and cultural history. The archive is all embracing, with a particular emphasis on Ireland. If you have a particular story to tell, please consider giving us an interview about your experiences as preserving the oral histories of individuals will be of great interest to future generations.
