Abstract

The public has two very different perceptions of bartending, an iconic person in Irish Fokelore, shoulder to cry, an encyclopedia of drinks knowledge, fatherly figure with the sympathetic ear. The bartender also holds the key to wild abandonment and sinful rights of passage.
