The SDAR journal was launched in 2011 and is a collaboration between the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Ireland. The emphasis is on moving professionals in the built environment from ideologically based green initiatives towards evidence based sustainable engineering solutions. The journal concentrates on papers which present insightful findings to working professionals in sustainable design in Ireland. Papers submitted internationally will be considered provided the findings have direct application in Ireland.
