The primary aim of this Centre isconduct research that advances theory and practice in the fields of psychology, education and emotional intelligence.This research aims to produce findings that better enable educators, students and others to reach their maximum potential.

Some current projects are: An analysis of the efficacy of current approaches to tackling youth crime. Assessing the social and emotional competencies that business leaders in various vocational domains most wish Irish graduates to possess. Helping educators to develop social and emotional competencies to enable them to reach their maximum potential.
