The IJASS is an international, scholarly peer reviewed journal focused on achieving and promoting excellence in research. We invite submissions across a range of social scientific disciplines including sociology, anthropology, criminology, childhood studies, geography, youth studies, education, social work, psychology and social care from majority and minority world perspectives. We welcome papers with qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method research focus as well as research notes and full papers detailing novel methodological development and applications as well as theoretically focused papers with important insights for policy and practice in Ireland, Europe and internationally. We are especially interested in transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary research.

The editors are Dr Lisa Moran is Dean of Graduate Studies and Head of the Graduate School at the Technological University of the Shannon, Ireland and Dr Rosemary Crosse, Postdoctoral Researcher, UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre, School of Political Science and Sociology, the University of Galway.
