Extensive research is conducted at School level throughout the Faculty of Science receiving support from industrial, governmental and European sources. Strengths have emerged in fields of Chemical, Biological and Physical Sciences, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science. Cross-School and Cross-Faculty research is increasing as traditional boundaries between the sciences are breaking down.
