The Gastronomy Archive will gather together, collect and preserve items relating to culinary history with a particular focus on Ireland.

The history of food, eating and where people ate offers a fascinating insight into the social history of bygone eras. All manner of material is included as even the most trivial item can assume historical significance by reason of its rarity value
